A bespoke hand bound photo album made to order in the design and colours of your choice with optional personalisation.
Also works as a photo wedding guest book (such as for instax photos).
The photo album is available in two sizes.
Waxed linen thread is used to sew the pages to the spine using a beautiful exposed stitch.
All of our books are cut, folded, glued and sewn by hand.

SIZE:
The photo album is available in the following sizes:
A5 Landscape (14.5 x 20.5cm / 6 x 8in) - Each page can hold a 6x4in or 5x7in photo in a landscape format.
A4 Portrait (29.7 x 20.5cm / 12 x 8in) - Each page can hold two 6x4in or two 5x7in photos in landscape format or one 6x8in photo in portrait format.
PAGES:
30 Pages / 60 Sides of 270gsm plain white finely stippled textured white card (100% recycled)
The pages are designed so photos can be stuck into them with photo corners or adhesive photo squares/mounts.
COVER:
Hard cover, covered with a decorative paper or book cloth of your choice. Choose the decorative paper for the cover of your book from the selection available here and quote the paper number on the form at the checkout:

Please read the description on the paper you choose to check it is suitable for the size of your book. If you are ordering more than one book in the same design, please check with me first that I have enough of this design in stock.
SPINE:
Book cloth in a colour of your choice with beautiful exposed chain stitching in waxed linen thread, also in a colour of your choice. Colours for book cloth and thread are in the swatch book.
GLASSINE SHEETS:
Optional glassine interleaving sheets between the pages are available. These are translucent sheets that are acid-free and archival and are designed to stop photos on opposing pages from sticking together. Without these it is advisable to only stick photos to one side of the page. If you would like these, please select this option from the drop-down menu when ordering.
RIBBON:
The album has an optional ribbon tie closure. I will choose a colour to match your album but if you have a preference in colour, please let me know.
PERSONALISATION:
Personalisation available on the cover, first page and/or spine.
Capital letters (plus numbers & limited punctuation) available in font Optima in two sizes (22pt & 14pt). Choose your foil colour from the swatch photo.
A maximum of 3 lines of text is possible on the cover and first page. Each line is a maximum of 7.5cm wide. A short word or date may be foiled onto the top and bottom of the spine. Please contact me if you are unsure how many lines of text you need.
The words 'Wedding' and 'Guests' are also available in two different calligraphy styles.
Please write the exact wording and foil colour in the box at the checkout.
PROCESSING TIME:
Bespoke photo albums can take 3-6 weeks to make. Please check the website status bar for current waiting times. If you need your book faster than this, you can pay a rush order fee to reduce your processing time. A rush order does not mean I will rush when making your item, it means you will jump the queue so your item will be made sooner.
The minimum rush order fee is 20% of the total cost of your item (a minimum of £5).
If you would like a rush order, please contact me with your deadline date before placing your order. Please note that at busy periods I may not be able to accommodate a rush order.
