Cyanotype is a historical photographic process that uses UV rays from the sun to expose chemicals painted onto fabric and paper. When exposed and rinsed, the chemicals turn blue. This is a 'wet cyanotype' which had water and soap suds added during exposure.
Sold unframed and unmounted.
Cyanotypes are archival, however it is advisable to display the print away from direct sunlight which can cause print to fade. If fading occurs, washing the print in a dilute bath of hydrogen peroxide will usually restore it to its original intensity.
