A bespoke and personalised hand bound photo album with a cloth cover and coptic stitch spine, made to order in the design and colours of your choice with optional foiled text on the cover or first page.
Also works as a photo wedding guest book (such as for instant photos).
The photo album is available in two sizes.
The album is bound with waxed linen thread in a coptic stitch style which allows the album to open completely flat.
Perfect as a wedding album, a baby album or a special gift.
The album is cut, folded, glued and sewn by hand.

SIZE
The photo album is available in the following sizes:
A5 Landscape (14.5 x 20.5cm / 6 x 8in) - Each page can hold a 6x4in or 5x7in photo in a landscape format.
A4 Portrait (29.7 x 20.5cm / 12 x 8in) - Each page can hold two 6x4in or two 5x7in photos in landscape format or one 6x8in photo in portrait format.
PAGES:
30 Pages / 60 Sides of 270gsm plain white finely stippled textured card (100% recycled).
The pages are designed so photos can be stuck into them with photo corners or adhesive photo squares/mounts.
This album does not come with glassine interleaves, so it is recommended to only stick photos on the right hand page to avoid photos sticking together.
COVER:
Hard cover, covered with a book cloth decorative paper of your choice. Choose the book cloth colour from the swatch image. Decorative paper designs can be seen here.
INSIDE COVER:
Choose a decorative paper of your choice or plain handmade paper for the inside cover. See ‘lokta paper’ swatch image for plain papers.

STITCHING:
Beautiful exposed coptic stitching with waxed linen thread, in a colour of your choice. Choose the colour of your thread from the swatch photo.
SPINE:
I use strips of handmade lokta paper to cover the spine of the sections. Choose your spine colour from the 'lokta paper' swatch photo.
RIBBON:
Ribbon is not included with this album, but if you would like a ribbon closure added, please contact me.
The following types of ribbon are available: Satin, Organza, Cotton Twill or Silk Sari Ribbon.
PERSONALISATION:
Personalisation available on the cover and/or first page.
Capital letters (plus numbers & punctuation including .,'?!#@&+-♥︎★) available in font Optima in two sizes (22pt & 14pt). Choose your foil colour from the swatch photo.
A maximum of 3 lines of text is possible on the cover and first page. Each line is a maximum of 7.5cm wide. Please contact me if you are unsure how many lines of text you need.
The words 'Wedding' and 'Guests' are also available in two different calligraphy styles.
Please write the exact wording and foil colour in the box at the checkout.

PROCESSING TIME:
Bespoke photo albums can take 3-6 weeks to make. Please check the website status bar for current waiting times. If you need your book faster than this, you may be able to pay a rush order fee to reduce your processing time. A rush order does not mean I will rush when making your item, it means you will jump the queue so your item will be made sooner.
The rush order fee is 20% of the total cost of your item (a minimum of £5).
If you would like a rush order, please contact me with your deadline date before placing your order. Please note that at busy periods I may not be able to accommodate a rush order.
